Moses Malbrew was born December 5, 1937 in Ville Platte, LA to the parentage of the late Napoleon and Louise Freeman Malbrew. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. O. White, Greater Saint Mary Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Rosa Mae Malveaux. Moses had six children – four daughters and two sons (Diane, Mary Dean, Veronica, Patricia, Moses Wayne, and Curtis).
Moses was dutiful and loyal to his church. He was a loving, devoted caring husband and father. He worked diligently for over 30 years and retired. He had a giving and caring spirit, helping relatives and many others in need. The door to their home was always open to assist anyone in need.
He was called from labor to reward Monday, September 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosa Mae, and one daughter Diane Malbrew. He was also preceded in death by his parents Napoleon and Louise Malbrew; four brothers Ivory, Shedrick, Frederick, and Nelson Malbrew; five sisters Ezola Thomas, Sedonia Malveaux, Almatine Arclese, Louise Mose, and Irene Skinner. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Curtis (Cynthia) Rougeau of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Moses Wayne Malbrew of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and three daughters Mary Sherrod of Lantana, TX , Veronica (Raymond) Malbrew-Scott, and Patricia Malbrew all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one brother Ikruse Malbrew of Chataignier, Louisiana, and one sister Iris Gallow of Ville Platte, Louisiana; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
