Ola Ann Brown Richard, age 60, was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late parents of James and Lula Mae Hayes Brown on March 29, 1957.

She accepted Christ at an early age. Ola was a member of Mossville Truth Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Mossville, Louisiana for many years.

Ola was a devoted caregiver in the Lake Charles area. She loved being with her boys, grandson and her family.

She departed this life on Saturday, March 24, 2018 while in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin Richard; and nephew, Marlon Gene Rigmaiden.

Ola's memories will be remembered through her two sons, Derrick Wayne Richard of Iowa, Louisiana and Reginald Demond Richard of Oakdale, Louisiana and grandson, Zayden Damond Joseph; six sisters Norma Jean Brown of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Gwendolyn Louise Rigmaiden of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Alice Faye Brown of Iowa, Louisiana, Pearl Marie Brown of Houston, Texas, Delores Joseph (Samuel) of Lake Charles, and Claudia Wright (Richard) of Fairfield, California. Nieces, Yolanda Brown Carter (Toby), Dawanna Johnson Guidry, Erica Joseph, Macleata Kirkwood, Keyia Yahaya (Muhammad), Courtney Hearst (Blaise) and Chrishonna Gates; nephews, Keith Brown, Shannon Johnson, Eric Joseph (Tamara), Aaron Joseph, Marshall Kimball (Diane), Elvin Joseph and    Michael Rigmaiden; and a host of great nieces, great great    nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
