Obituary

Orville Flowers, Jr. 68, was born on April 5, 1945 in Lake Charles, LA to Rosa Rodgas and Orville Flowers, Sr.

He was baptized at an early age at Christian Baptist Church under the Leadership of the late Dr. W. C. Clark. He was a great worker as a young man growing up in the church diligently with Vacation Bible School. His creativity working in the Arts and Craft department, was instrumental in creating various unique crafts using egg crates (back then which was scarce). He was a faithful Sunday School member until his health became challenged. God gave him the gift of "Tailoring", and with that talent he custom made choir robes for the Junior Choir. Flowers, as he was affection ally called, rededicated his life to Christ in 2012 and made peace with God.

Flowers was a graduate of W. O. Boston High School and later attended and completed Annie Frank''s School of Beauty. He was Owner/Operator of "Designs by Flowers". He was known for his talent in "Tailoring. He was one of the best Tailors in the world. He could sew any design and always added a special touch.

Flowers enjoyed cooking, decorating, entertaining family and friends, and most of all sewing. He touched many lives and will always live in our hearts.

On Monday, September 23, 2012, in a local hospital he enjoyed quality time and laughter with his sister, nieces, nephews, and friends, but early in the midnight hour, God spoke, he listened and his soul was relocated.
