Otis. J. Thomas Jr., 75 years old, was born October 26, 1946 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was the second child of four children to Otis J. Thomas Sr. and Theresa Fruge Thomas. He received his early sacraments from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. He attended Second Ward Elementary School and graduated from W. O. Boston High School, where he played football, his favorite sport. He was employed with Calcasieu Parish School System, Schlumberger Offshore Services and the City of Lake Charles. Otis was hardworking, dependable and always willing to lend a hand. He proudly completed years of tireless service and retired from each of the companies he was employed. He enjoyed visiting Home Depot having morning coffee with friends. He would love playing with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved fishing and playing cards and dominoes with his wife.

Lovingly remembered as "Daddy", "PawPaw","Dedee" and "O.T." his life lessons are ones that we will hold on to forever.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Pat Anderson Thomas; one daughter, Veronica Thomas of Lake Charles, LA; two sons, Joseph (Janet) Lilly of New Orleans, Louisiana; McKinsey (April) Thomas of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one sister, Barbara (Louis) Hebert of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one brother, Ray (Regina) Thomas of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis J. Thomas and Theresa Fruge Thomas; one brother, Alridge Thomas.
