Lake Charles- Ouida Louise Holmes Daniel, 81, died at 6pm Saturday, June 9,2018 peacefully at her residence.

She was a native of Natchitoches LA but lived most of her life in Lake Charles LA. For more than 20 years she was employed with the city of Lake Charles Recreation & Parks Department. She has served as a member of the Eastern Stars and the St Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She was a member and past Queen of the Lake Charles Red Hat Society-Ladies Of B.A.N.

Survivors include: two sons Anthony Daniel Sr and Andrew Daniel (Faye) of Lake Charles; twelve grandchildren Felecia Daniel-Grayson (Jarvis) of Lafayette LA; Mark Daniel, Anthony "Gerard" Daniel Jr (Christy), and Sawazi "April" Daniel of Baton Rouge, Tammy Scott and Leo Payne of Gonzales LA; Brandon Henderson, Danielle Henderson, Anthony Henderson Lemichel Daniel, Lenae Payne, and Leroy Payne of Lake Charles LA; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; daughter-n-law Deborah Daniel McZeal; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
