IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela Victorian
Bryant
October 29, 1958 – December 28, 2025
Pamela Marie Victorian Bryant was born on October 29, 1958, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to the union of Clarence Andrew Victorian and Annie Lee Victorian, née Babineaux. Pamela transitioned from her cherished earthly life and entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2025, at the age of 67.
Pam was born into the Catholic faith and was baptized at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on November 29, 1958, by Reverend Father H. S. McNeil. She carried Catholic teachings and traditions with her throughout her life. Pam was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Oakland, California, and later St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pensacola, Florida. Although she was not affiliated with a parish at the time of her passing, her Catholic faith remained an enduring and guiding presence throughout her life.
Pam began her early education at Riverside Elementary School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She later relocated to Emeryville, California, with her parents and older sister, Rebecca. Pam attended Emery Junior High School and graduated from Emery High School in June 1976.
Pam had a diverse professional background spanning the service, finance, and healthcare sectors. She approached every task with precision and care, relying on her strong problem-solving skills to navigate even the most challenging situations. Pam medically retired in 2008 from West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where she served as an X-ray film technician.
Pam had a vibrant love for life. She adored fashion and was an impeccable dresser, always expressing herself with confidence and style. She embraced the California creative scene, where her warmth and presence shone brightly. Pam delighted in live music and regularly attended concerts, finding joy in the energy and rhythm of live performances. A true lover of good food, she especially enjoyed dining out, savoring seafood and her beloved Louisiana cuisine. Pam was also an avid sports fan, proudly cheering for the Raiders and the Golden State Warriors.
Above all, Pam was deeply devoted to her family. She shared a loving bond with her mother and father and selflessly served as a caregiver to her father prior to his passing. In 2002, Pam joyfully welcomed her first grandchild, Jaitlin, and devoted much of her time and care to him. In the final season of her life, Pam was surrounded by love as she spent precious time in Tampa, Florida, with her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons—cherishing family, togetherness, and the moments that mattered most.
Pamela is survived by her loving daughter, Latasha Green-Boyd (James), of Tampa, Florida; grandsons Jaitlin McCorvey of Tampa, Florida, and Juwan Boyd of Baltimore, Maryland; her sister, Rebecca (Michael) Carter of San Antonio, Texas; nieces Krystal (Eddie) Carter-Rivera and Mikaela Carter, both of San Antonio, Texas; stepdaughter Marquinta (Paul) Bryant Coble of Los Angeles, California; aunt Ethel Edwards of Lake Charles, Louisiana; uncles Howard Victorian of Clearlake, California, and Edward (Rose) Babineaux of Houston, Texas; and her half-siblings Sidney Narcisse of Atlanta, Georgia, Yolanda (Eddie) West of Houston, Texas, and Patricia Trahan of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Sidney Narcisse, Chris Narcisse, Eddie West, Shaminikia Valentine, and Sonzarae West, along with a host of extended family and loved ones.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Annie Lee Victorian; her husband, Boyd S. Bryant; her grandparents Lorena and Edmond Babineaux, and Eva and Mitchell Victorian; her godfather Wilfred Babineaux; her godmother Esther Lewis; her aunt Rose Patterson; and her uncles Raymond (Agnes) Victorian and Wilbert (Lee) Babineaux.
Pam answered God's call with faith and courage. Having fought a good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith, she now rests in the promise of everlasting peace. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, one marked by love, service, and enduring faith. May we honor her memory by carrying forward her compassion, strength, and love in all that we do.
