Lake Charles – Pollie Anderson, 59, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 in a local hospital.

She was born in Lake Charles on June 3, 1952 to the late Milton Anderson Sr. and Elma Jack Anderson. Pollie was employed for several years at George Theriots Grocery, Cintas, Hokus Pokus and L'Augerge at the time of her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Molly and Velma Anderson, nephew Kenion Anderson and one sister-in-law, Pamela Anderson.

She is survived by two daughtersm Tiffanie Anderson of Kennesaw, GA and Shannah Anderson of Lake Charles, LA; four grandchildren, Colby, Courtlyn and Comron Robinson of Kennesaw, GA and Kenyon Anderson of Lake Charles, LA; eight brothers, Milton, Ray, Eddie, Chris, Jolly, Stoney and Donny Anderson all of Lake Charles, LA, and Stanley Anderson of Houston, TX; Godson, Jarvis Anderson; three sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Marcus Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. in the funeral home.
