Ray Wallace Malvo, 60, passed away May 20, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. He was born Nov. 2, 1957 in Lake Charles to the late Robert "Bob" Malvo and Bertha W. Malvo. He was baptized at an early age at New Light Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. M.M. Cuby. He was reared by his grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Veneice in the Brownsville Community. He Attended Brownsville Elementary, St. John Elementary, and went on to Barbe High School. He later got his G.E.D. He worked various jobs and loved to cook and bake. He was always the life of he party keeping everybody laughing. Ray was a jolly person and made friends with all. He was a very free hearted person. We loved him but God loved him best.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Bertha) Malvo; his grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Veneice; his aunt, Mrs. Bessie Gills of Houston, Texas; and brother-in-law Mr. Marshall Price.
Those left to cherish his memories are his sisters Mrs. Barbara (Joseph) Prater, Joan Price, Deborah "Maxie" Malvo, and Mrs. Ruth (Jesse) Curry all of Lake Charles; brothers Reginald Malvo, Robert "P Nut" Malvo, Clifford Malvo all of Lake Charles and Robert Lute of Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
