Robert Antoine was born on January 27, 1948 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Vincent and Lillian (Gage) Antoine. He was the father of Robert Craig Antoine, Rawlyn 'Shotgun' Antoine, and Martilla (Antoine) Morgan.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Lillian Antoine, his sister Barbara Jean Lewis, and his brother Vincent Antoine, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons, one daughter, his two brothers Alfred and Lawrence along with his sister Juanita. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, and a plethora of extended relatives and life long friends.
