On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, an angel was called into Heaven.  Robert Lee "Joe" Jacob, age 68 was born April 30, 1951, in Ville Platte, La.; to the late Angelica (Tezeno) Jacob and Carmmon Jacob, Sr.

Robert (Joe) was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, La.  He was baptized and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  He was married to Barbara Celestaine Jacob and unto this union, four children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelica and Carmmon Jacob, Sr., maternal and paternal grandparents, two brothers, Donald R., and LB Robertson Jacob, two nieces, Rena, and Angelice Jacob.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; two daughters, Sara, and Angelica Jacob; two sons, Robert DeWayne and Devon Jacob; two grandchildren, Diamon Jacob and Zayviona Major, all of Opelousas, La.  Seven sisters, Helen (Sidney) Beaver, Bertha (Gary) Gobert, Gloria and Wanda Jacob, all of Lake Charles, La., Rose (Barry, Sr.) Edwards of Carencro, La., Retha (Craig) Madison and Betty Jacob of Austin, Tx.  Four brothers; Kernist (Brenda) Jacob, Carmmon, Jr. and Martin Jacob, all of Lake Charles, La.  David (Sandra) Jacob, Sr. of Austin, Tx.  His Godfather Leon Berard, Jr. of Lake Charles, La.  The Staff and friends of CARC and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends.
