Robert Lee Orphey, 57, began his journey on Nov. 27, 1959, in Lake Charles, La. He was born to the union of Zedore Sr. and Lillie Mae Orphey. He entered into his eternal rest on March 3, 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Pete Orphey; three stepsons, Oscar Pete of Corpus Christi, Texas, Alfred Herman Pete of Lake Charles, La., and Martin Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Denise Lewis and Ericka Williams of Lake Charles, La.; two brothers, Zedore (Tommie) Orphey of Houston, Texas, Donald Orphey of Lake Charles, La.; one sister, Veronica (Lloyd) Cains of Lake Charles, La.; 16 grandchildren; a special friend, Johnny Joubert; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Wilford Orphey.
