65 years old A resident of Lake Charles Louisiana passed away on January 6, 2018 and a local hospital surrounded by his family and loved ones Rodney Louis Lazare (Jimmy) was born December 15, 1952 in Lake Charles La
Rodney a 1971 Graduate of Marion High School where he was a dynamic football player
Upon graduating he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp serving his country in the Vietnam era for 6 years he received an honorable discharge , He then attended McNeese State College.
Rodney (Jimmy) Lazare retired from the City of Lake Charles after 20 years of service.
Rodney (Jimmy) leaves to cherish his brother Herman Lazare Jr. (2) Sisters Loyce Fontenot and Etta Green , His Godmother Helen (Odessa) Reed His Special Friend Klodinia Tillman (2) Godsons Reggie Reado and Michael Lazare
Several nieces and nephews. Rodney (Jimmy) was preceded in death by his Father Herman Lazare Sr. Mother Mable Johnson Lazare and brother Sidney George Lazare.
