Ronald Ramie Atlow, 74 was born to the late Joseph and Alice Atlow on June 27,1949 in New Orleans, LA. Growing up as a Mississippi native he later resided in Lake Charles, LA. Ronald was a devoted catholic and spent time as an usher and sang in the choir. Ronald joined the U.S. Army and served 21 gratifying years retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class.

Ronald's army career years provided him with two tours of duty in the Vietnam war. After his time in the service, he became an Owner Operator/Truck Driver.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 44 years, Theresa Atlow of Lake Charles, LA; sons, Mikel (Kelly) Atlow of Lake Charles, LA and Gaylan Atlow of Slidell, LA; mother-in-law, Willa Mae Mouton of Lake Charles, LA; brother-in-law, Donald Mouton of Lake Charles, LA; sister-in-law, Brenda Mouton of Houston, TX; Godson, Denzel Mouton of Lake Charles, LA; eleven grandchildren, Ma'Katlynn Atlow, Kingston Atlow, Keiren Prater, MaKaylie Joseph, Braylon joseph, Jac'Aquetta Davis, Sharaud Atlow, Siera Atlow, Jaylon Atlow, K'Darion and Skylar: and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alice Atlow; daughter, Erin Atlow; son, Brian Joseph Atlow; father-in-law, Felix Mouton, Sr.; sisters, Verna Tyson, Elise Batiste, and Mert Burnette; brothers, Larry Atlow, and Richard (Venita) Perkins; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Tyson, Israel Batiste, and Felix Mouton, Jr.
