Rosa Marie "Sunday" Bellard was born on December 9, 1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Mildred and Milton Bellard, Sr. and departed this life on Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Rosa was born the sixth of twelve children. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Harvey Lawson at Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid member of the church participating in the Adult Mass Choir, Contact Secretary for class #1 Sunday School class, First Impressions Ministry and the WMU. She graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1975 and also attended McNeese University.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mila Thomas and Jayniya Bellard (Kristen) both of Richmond, Virginia, ten brothers Milton J. Bellard, Jr., Robert (Denise) Bellard, Willie (Patsy) Bellard, Sr., John (Lorena) Bellard, Gerard (Constance) Bellard, David (Alice) Bellard all of Lake Charles and Rufus Charles Bellard, Curtis W. Bellard, Michael (Karen) Bellard and Randolph Scott (Debra) Bellard of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren Amiyah Bellard of Richmond, VA and Aubrey Bellard of Richmond, VA ; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends to cherish her memories.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Bellard, Sr., Mildred Hicks Bellard, Grandparents, Clara Edwards, and Will Hicks, one brother Morris Patrick, two uncles Curtis Hicks and Robert Hartman, two aunties, Roberta Cotlong and Betty Van Buren.
