Rosa Marie Henny passed away Nov. 26, 2018 at the age of 99. She was born Sept. 23, 1919 to Lucien Narcisse and Mary Wilkes Narcisse. On April 19, 1952, she married Milton Henny Sr. To this union one son, Milton Henny Jr.

Rosa was very talented with her hands. She was the owner and operator of Rosa's Beauty Salon. She lived a life of service. She did volunteer work for Abraham's Tent after her retirement from Calcasieu Parish School Board as a custodial worker. She volunteered for Calcasieu Council On Aging knitting blankets. She won numerous awards for her crocheting and quilting. Always an active volunteer around her church helping in fundraisers. She was also a member of the Lady Auxiliary since she was 27 years old.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Milton Henny Jr.; grandson, Ramsey Henny; and granddaughter Shelbi Henny.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary; father, Lucien; and husband, Milton.
