Sister Rose Anna Eaglin; who entered this world on April 18, 1928 in Branch, LA to the union of James Eaglin Sr. and Joanna Gibson Eaglin. Rose at an early age accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. After relocating to Lake Charles, she united with Starlight Baptist Church where she remained until her death. During her membership Rose was involved in many ministries of the church. Sister Rose was a dedicated member of the Senior Choir, Adult No. 1 Sunday School Class, Women Ministry and she attended bible study faithfully.  Rose was also included in the American Legion Auxiliary.

Rose leave to cherish and celebrate her memory one brother, James Eaglin (June) of Aurora, Colorado. Two sisters Dorothy Eaglin of Crowley, LA and Gilda Bell of Houston, TX.  A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and loving friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John D. Jacob, one sister Georgia, one brother Jessie Lee,  two aunts Annie Mae Nickson and Helen Boutte, one nephew, Louis P. Guidry Jr. ,one niece Mary Terrell and one great nephew Keith Williams Jr.
