Rose Tyler, 95, passed away on July 6, 2015 at 5:41 pm in a nursing care facility.

Rose loved working in her yard. In earlier years she was employed as an elevator operator at the Charleston Hotel; thereafter she was a service worker.

Rose was born in St. Martinville, Louisiana, but spent most of her life in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

She is survived by her nephew Kermit Tyler; great nephews Derrick and Dwayne; great-great nieces and nephews Joy Ashanti, Joylynn, Jhalil, Robert and Damoni Tyler. She is also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her father Winnfield Tyler; mother Ida Tyler Hall; stepfather Luther Hall and brother Robert Tyler.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: July 11, 2015

Her funeral will be Saturday, July 11, 2015, 11:00 am in the Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Madison Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home, Lake Charles, Louisiana. Visitation is from 9:00 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the funeral home chapel.
