Rossierio John (Ro) Weston died at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas after a lengthy illness. "Ro" lived in Lake Charles, LA all of his life.  He was an employee with the City of Lake Charles since 2001 and was later promoted to a General Maintenance Worker III and during the time of his employment, in 2007 attended and graduated from Parkview Baptist School, where he received his General Equivalency Diploma.  Ro accepted Christ at an early age and in August 2009 was baptized at Christian World Ministries in Lake Charles, LA under the direction of Pastor Jerry Snider.

"Ro-Ro" as all of his cousins called him was a very outgoing person who had a love for life and travel, dominoes and his job. He owned his smile and it showed in everything he did and in everyone he met.   He never met a stranger, and even on some of his hardest days, he still managed to make others smile, and now that beautiful smile is lighting up heaven.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Roy Weston, of Lake  Charles, LA, four brothers, Richard Dale, Larry Charles, Michael Todd,  and Phillip Scott Weston  all of Lake Charles, LA, two sisters, Julie  Weston Guillory of Lake Charles, and Michelle Weston- London of  Missouri City Texas.  His memory will live on in the special relationship he had with his nieces and nephews: Herbert Dee Guillory, Richard Dale Glaspie and sister Chardae; Korie Lamar Weston; Kailynn R. Weston and a special sister-in-law Linda W. Weston.  He also leaves to cherish his memory his Godmother Joyce Mott and a host aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and great nieces and nephews.

Ro was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Guidry-Weston, two brothers Christopher Gerald and Harvey Joseph Weston and maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Funeral will be at 11am Saturday, March 31, in Combre Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9-11 Saturday in the Funeral Home.
