- Ruby Williams, 87, was called home to the Lord on Monday, October 1, 2012 with her loved ones by her side.  She was born December 27, 1924 in Welsh, Louisiana, but lived most of her life in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Ruby was called by many names: Momma, Grandmother, Aunt Ruby and Dear Friend. She gave herself totally to the Spiritual   up-bringing of her children. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served in the Sacred Heart League Ladies Auxiliary until her health would no longer permit her. She was a very loving person and would drop everything she was doing to help whenever needed. Ruby was a proud Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Dear Friend. Family meant everything to her and she showed it constantly. She was also known for her great cooking skills and her warm and generous heart. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Madlene Senegal and her fourteen siblings.  She was the last living child of this union.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Wayne(Belinda) Williams of Lake Charles, Louisiana and two daughters Carolyn Guillory and Beverly Stansberry, both of San Francisco, California; ten Grandchildren; twenty-two Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandchild and countless family and friends who were blessed by having her in their lives.
