Sandy "Otis" Walker was born May 9, 1955 on Brick Street in Lake Charles, LA to Naomi Alma Jones and Sam Walker.
Otis was raised in Lake Charles and was a 1974 graduate of  W.O. Boston High School. After graduating high school, he enrolled in the United States Army where he served honorably for six years. Otis became employed by the
United States Postal Service where he remained until his retirement in August 2014. On February 18, 1978, Otis married the love of his life Sandra Marie (Deville) Walker and to this union two children were born. Otis loved to travel and watch the news.

God called Otis Walker to rest on Friday, November 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Alma Jones. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sandra Walker; daughter Samona Walker ; son Sidney Walker (Ashley); granddaughter Seniyah Walker; sisters Mildred Wilson and Mary Anna Jones; mother-in-law
Rita Landry Etienne; sisters-in-law Sheila Barrett (Terry) and Cynthia Senegal (Keith); brother-in-law Robert Deville;
Aunt Rosa Lee Burns; nieces Patrice Washington, Carla Holmes, Alexis Higgins, Tamika Deville, and Brittany
Deville; nephews Ajay Barrett and Chris Barrett, and a host of other relatives and friends.
