Shirley Williams was born May 14, 1940, to the union of Preston Macon and Ethel Woods.

She went into eternal peace on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston Macon and Ethel Woods; andher husband, Marshall L. Williams.

She is survived by four children, Debby Reece, Marshall Williams Jr., Tammy Williams and Todd Williams; grand children, Catundra Alexander (Adair), Markus Williams, Michael Reese Jr., Yanik Williams, Mishanae Reese, Tempestt Reese, D''Jante'' Curry; great-grandchildren, Zhonis Williams, Camden Reese, Markus and DeMarkus Williams (twins), Michael Reese III, Londyn Alexander, Madison Reese and Masiah Jett.

Her service will be Saturday, June 7, 2014, at noon in Starlight Baptist Church, 1523 4th Ave., Lake Charles,La. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Starlight Baptist Church. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park, under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
