Stacy Deruso Victor, 42 of Lake Charles, LA resident of Houston, TX. Passed away on Sunday September 20, 2015 in her home surrounded by family. Stacy was born on August 13, 1973 in Lake Charles, LA to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tommy (Theresa) Deruso. She was married to Zachary McCrea Victor for five wonderful years.

She was employed with Port Allen, Ascension Parish and Calcasieu Parish Schools as a teacher which she loved to do. She resided in Houston, Texas and was employed with Harris County.

Stacy was a Washington Marion High School Graduate class of 1991 and also a graduate of Southern University A&M College. She also received two masters at Lamar and Northwestern University. Stacy was a member of Alpha Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. of Southern University A & M of Baton Rouge, LA.

She is survived by her loving husband Zachary Victor, daughter, Nzinga Williams Victor, step daughter, Zondra Victor, 2 stepsons, Zachary Victor II and ZacQuez Victor of Houston TX. one brother, Duane (Jennifer) Deruso, Her parents, Roy (Theresa) Deruso, Paternal Grandmother, Anna Rose Deruso, Grandfather in law, Joseph Victor all of Lake Charles, LA and mother in law, Dora Victor of Memphis, TN, two nephews, two great nephews, one great niece and a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: September 26, 2015

Her funeral will be at 1:30pm, Saturday September 26, 2015 at Mount Olive Baptist Church. The Reverend Dwane Andrepont will officiate. Visitation is at 11:00 to 1:30 is also at Mount Olive Baptist Church. Burial will be at Combre Cemetary.
