Lake Charles – Stella Thierry, was called to her heavenly home on June 30, 2012.

She was born January 7, 1931 to the late Alcide LeDay and Ida Mae Edwards – Thomas.

Stella leaves to cherish her memory, one son, John Grant (Sharon) Thierry, Jr., four daughters, Verna (Leonard) LeBlanc and Rachel Thierry both of Lake Charles, LA,. Catherine (William) Joyner of Goldsboro, NC and Cathleen (Wilbur) Wilson of Richmond, TX

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Benny Wego will officiate. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. in the funeral home, with a Roasary at 9:30 a.m. conducted by the Christian Mothers, which she was a member of.
