Stephen James Gardiner has gained his wings at the age of 54. He was called home after battling Cancer for a few years he has finished the race. He was born in Lake Charles, LA on February 18,1969 to the Late Georgia Morris and "Rockin" Sideny Simien. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his wife Tammy of 40 plus years, kids, family especially his grandchildren. Also, enjoyed watching football/basketball games, attending sport events, date nights and trips. He was definitely a dedicated fan of Washington Commanders and Houston Rockets. He was an employee at the City Of Lake Charles as a heavy equipment operator for 18 plus years before medically retirement. Stephen is survived by his wife Tammy Stovall Gardiner of Dallas, Tx , two children daughter Jasmine Stovall (Kevin John) and son Michael Stovall-Tate and bonus son Allen Tate all of Grand Prairie, Tx. Six grandchildren: Ja' Michael Williams of Port Arthur, Tx, Terrick Stovall of Lake Charles, LA. Shannon Bartie, Elijah and Harmoni Majors last but least the baby of the bunch Honesti (YaYa) John all of Dallas, Tx. Four bonus grandchildren J'Vonte Morris,J'Zaila Brown, Zariah Berry and Nekhia Gray of all of Lake Charles, LA. Six sisters Anita Morris, Debbie (Stanley) St Mary, Peggy (Willie) Collins all of Lake Charles, LA. Janet Morris and Diane Colbert of Lafayette, La. Charlene Lotten of Baton Rouge, La. and one brother Manuel (Rhonda) Gordon of Tucson, Arizona, and Close Brother-in-Law Jeffery Stovall of Lake Charles, LA. God children Donavon Morris and Jayden Guillory and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Shannon Deion Gardiner, parents, sister Kimberly Morris and brother Gregory Morris, best-friends Gary Ross and Irvin Thomas and his favorite brother-in-law Nathaniel Guillory Sr.
