Thaddeus DeClouet, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025 at the age of 94.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Rita Victorian DeClouet, his parents, Thaddeus DeClouette, Sr. and Monietean Sterling DeClouette, and his brothers, Latin Joseph DeClouet and Merrick DeClouette.
He is survived by his daughters Ella Jourdan (Preston), Della Bell, and Rebecca Andrews
(Wilbert); his brother, Pastor James Lee (Marva) DeClouette; and his sisters Gilda Boyd
(Kenneth), Linda Sledge (Eugene), Frances Epps (Vincent), Shirley Temple DeClouette, Mary
Galatas (Herman), and Jacqueline Pappion (Wilbert). A proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Thaddeus will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and dedication to family.
A hardworking man, he spent over 30 years at PPG Industries, where he was recognized for his
innovation in workplace safety. He will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and dedication
to his family and friends.
A home going service will be held on March 22, 2025 at St. Henry's Catholic Church at 11:00
am, with visitation beginning at 8:00 am at Combre Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at
Combre Cemetery.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and innovation.
May he rest in peace.
His visitation will be Saturday, March 22,2025, from 8:00 A.M. in Combre Funeral Home with his funeral following at 11:00 A.M. in St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park
