On Monday March 21, 2022 Thelman "T-Font" Fontenot entered into his eternal rest. He was born in Ville Platte, LA on December 3, 1944 to Levi and Mable (Mose) Fontenot. Thelman accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at St. Mary Baptist Church in Point Blue, La.

In 1966 he relocated to Lake Charles, He began his career with Local 207 in 1967, and worked there for 30+ years before retiring. After retirement, he went into the Nightclub Industry, he opened Tillman's Place in 2000 and managed it until he started having health issues in 2017.

He was a devoted father, father in love, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed watching the New Orleans Saints play football, watching cowboy movies and hanging out with family and friends.

Memories of Thelman will forever remain in the hearts of "his baby girl as he affectionately called her" Vanessa Bias (Sherman) two grandchildren Theddrick and Terricka (Blondie) Bias Two Great-Grandchildren Kassedy and Theddrick Levi all from Katy, Texas; Two Sons Gregory Ceasar of Lake Charles, La., Thelman Mark (Joann) Fontenot of Santa Rita, Guam granddaughter Kiera Rogers Fontenot;  One bonus daughter Melissa Brown with grandchildren Kayla Brown , Wesley Brown, and Kelsey Brown all of Lake Charles, La; One Sister Ethel Mae Stagg of Baton Rouge, LA; Six Brothers, Gilton (Alma)Fontenot of Texas City, TX , Rev Clarence Fontenot Sr. (Anne) of Lake Charles, La, Johnny Ray Fontenot of Mamou, La, Johnny Lee Fontenot (Pamela) of Baton Rouge, La, Robert Fontenot of Ville Platte, La and Rev. Wilford Fontenot (Judith) of Baker, La; Frances Charles( Mother of Vanessa, Mark, and Melissa);a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Levi and Mable Fontenot; His wife Pamela (Guidry) Fontenot; Five siblings Lawerence, Edward, Lee Edward, Wilbert, and Ethel Lee.
