Theodore Joseph Armelin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 7, 1924. He went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2014 at the age of 89.

He was a long time resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. As a young man, he joined the United State Army and served his country in World War II. After returning home, he later was employed by the United States Post Office for over thirty years. He was a member of the American Legion for over sixty-five years and member of Sacred Heart Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Edwina Rita Booth Armelin and two sons Glenn Joseph Armelin and Michael Jerome Armelin.

He leaves to cherish his memories his son Wayne M. Armelin, I of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Service date: March 29, 2014

His funeral will be at 9:30am Saturday, March 29, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8am to 9:15am, Saturday, March 29, in Combre Funeral Home.
