Theresa Cormier daughter of the late Carris and Leota LeBlanc 76 died at 1:15pm Tuesday, January 9, 2013 in DeKalb Medical Hospital in Decatur Georgia. She's preceded by her late husband Melvin J. Cormier Sr. and daughter Carline Hanney. She lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana for 55 years. She was a home-maker and a caterer. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church until her death. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.

Survivors include her daughter Denise (Robert) Bellard Sr. of Lake Charles, La; three sons Dominic Cormier of Lake Charles, La Deporres (Barbara) Cormier Sr., of Atlanta, GA Melvin J(Angie)Cormier Jr. of New Orleans, La; Two sisters Betty LeBlanc of San Francisco, CA; Gloria LeBlanc Wheeler of Lafayette, La; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 18 from 6-9 at Combre Funeral Home Saturday January 19; there will be a home going mass at 12pm at Scared Heart Catholic Church Pastor Clyde Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under direction of Combre Funeral Home
