On Monday, February 22, 2016, at her residence, the Lord called Tina Louise Tizano to come home and rest.

Tina, 46, was born to Edmond "Shorty" and Joann Hamilton Tizano on October 13, 1969 in Jennings, LA. Tina was employed with The Home Depot in Missouri City, TX for twelve years. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edmond "Shorty" Tizano, Sr.; sister, Romona C. Fontenot; two brother-in-laws, Alvin Fontenot, Sr. and Ramon Blair.

She is survived by daughter, Markie Fontenot; son, Alvin Fontenot III; mother, Joann Hamilton Tizano all of Jennings; three sisters, Kathy Tizano of Baton Rouge, LA; Joann Blair of Jennings and Joni Terry of Jefferson City, MO; five brothers, Mark and wife Lela of Lake Charles, LA; Edmond Tizano, Jr., Rodney Tizano and Dwight Drayton all of Jennings and Duane Drayton of Houston, TX; six nephews; five nieces; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; two aunts, Anner B. Malveaux of Jennings and Vivian B. Tizano of Port Arthur, TX; four god-children, Destiny Martin of Austin, TX; Ashlei Tizano of Lake Charles; Briana Smith of Houston, TX; and Austin Fontenot of Jennings; five lifelong childhood friends, Kimberly Harris, April Cormier, Donna White, Chianti Dawn Harris-Moncrief and Shellie Ethridge-King.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: February 27, 2016

Funeral will be at 1:30pm Saturday, February 27, in Union Baptist Church in Jennings, the Rev Gerald Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in Peterson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home of Lake Charles, LA.
