Lake Charles – Vincent "Tony" Dwight Austin, 44 was called home Sunday, April 22, 2012 in Moss Bluff, LA.

He was born August 17, 1967 to Mary Tezeno and the late Clinton Austin, Sr. in Ville Platte, LA.  H was the 9th of 11 children.  He was employed at Sam's Club and was a member of Crewe De Tracas.  He was a calm spirited person who knew no strangers and was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Austin, Sr.  Days following his death his youngest daughter, Dalensia Rose journeyed to heaven to be with him and his godson Titus Austin.  Survivors include, his wife Leyla Gallow Austin, one daughter, Shanna Gallow Austin, 5 brothers; Barry (Jewel) Corbin of Chicago, Il., Clinton (Lucy) Austin of Picayune, MS., Nathan (Kayla) Austin of Killian, LA., Lucas Austin of Ville Platte, LA., and Craig (Vicky) Austin of Tyler, TX.  5 sisters; Peggy and Barbara (Carlton) Thomas of Ville Platte, LA., Emily (Anthony) Austin of Picayune, MS and Dionne (Wayne) Austin of Lake Charles, LA.; and a host of family and friends.

His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, in Crossroads Church in Moss Bluff.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Combre Funeral Home.
