Vincent Antoine, Jr. was born on August 7, 1941, to Vincent and Lillian Antoine of Lake Charles, LA.

He is a graduate of David Starr Jordan High School in Los Angeles, CA. Following graduation, Antoine enlisted in the U.S. Army and devoted several years to the branch. After leaving the military, Vincent returned to Lake Charles in the early '60s and began working for his father's service station on Railroad Ave. A few years later, he and his father went into business together opening "Antoine's Conoco" on Enterprise Blvd. He and his wife, Juanita, eventually opened a Texaco on 1-10 and Enterprise Blvd.

In 1976, Vincent went to work for NL Baroid in the oilfield industry. He retired in 1996 from Atlas Wireline Service, ending his career as a wireline engineer. He later went to work for the Lake Charles City Marshal in 2001
under the Tony Mancuso Administration, and in 2002, he went to work for Lake Charles Regional Airport as the Airport Security Coordinator until 2015. Vincent was also a deputy (reserve) with the Calcasieu Sheriff's Department under Beth Lundy Admiration.

Mr. Antoine is survived by his sons, Danny Antoine and wife Shade on of Houston, TX, David Antoine, Sr. and wife Lisa of Iowa, LA, Tony Antoine and wife Levetta of Houston, TX, Randy Antoine and wife Janice of Lake Charles, and Jody Antoine and wife Veronica of Lake Charles; siblings, Alfred Antoine Sr. and his wife Mattie, Robert Antoine, Lawrence Antoine, and Juanita Griffin. His thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Juanita Antoine; parents Vincent and Lillian Antoine; maternal grandparents, Villie and Mary (Fontenot) Gage.; fraternal grandparents, Eugene and Ella (Goodly) Antoine, and one sister Barbara Antoine Lewis.
