IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wallace
Willmore
February 10, 1946 – May 16, 2013
One of seven children, Wallace was the youngest son of the late George and Mary Willmore. He was born February 10, 1946, in Mossville, La. Following his parents death, his sister Louise became his primary caregiver. Affectionately nicknamed "Poon," he was loved dearly and spoiled by everyone in the family. In his early years, he enjoyed getting out of the house and taking rides in the car. He also looked foward to visiting relatives on Sundays. One of his great joys was listening to music and dancing, especially doing the "funky chicken." Wallace will surely be missed by everyone in the family.
Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Willmore; brothers, Clarence and George Willmore Jr; sisters, Beulah Tezeno, Mable Decloutte, and Louise Brignac.
Left to cherish his memories is one sister, Rose Wilmore of Lake Charles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, in Combre Funeral Home. Rev. Frankie Green will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is at 10 a.m.
