Willie Mae Provost Vallean, 67, departed this life on Tuesday July 10, 2012 in a local hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She was a faithful lifelong member of Christian Baptist Church, where she was a part of Circle number three and the Gospel Choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joyce Mae Lavergne and Joseph "Joe" King; her husband Joseph Vallean Jr. and her brother Coach Robert Lavergne Jr. She is survived by two sisters; Juanita Lavergne; Linda Faye (Clifford) Miller. Two daughters Jacqueline (Riland) Vickers and Pamela Vallean of Lake Charles; Four Sons; Michael (Michelle) Vallean of Atlanta, Georgia, Darrold (Selisa) Vallean of Lake Charles,  Terry Don Vallean of Lake Charles, and Patrick (Yolandria) Vallean of Olive Branch, Mississippi; thirteen grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Willie Mae will be greatly missed by her family and her friends Edna Mae Lafanette and Yvonne Lewis.

Her funeral will be at 2p.m. Saturday July 14 in Christian Baptist Church (Franklin Street Location). The Rev. Edward Alexander will officiate.

Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.

Visitation is 10 – 12:30 Saturday at Combre Funeral Home.
