Wilson Joseph Clayton Jr. was born on March 6, 1948 to Wilson and Ruby Lee Clayton in Lake Charles, LA.; On Monday August 19, 2013 the Lord called him home. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA.; He was employed by the Calcasieu Parish School Board for twenty-eight years. He was united in marriage to Linda (Lartigue) Clayton.
He was preceded in death by his father the late Wilson Clayton Sr. and his mother Ruby Lee Clayton. Four siblings: Ruby Lee Davis, Daniel Davis Jr., Thurman Clayton Sr., and Alice Pullen. One step-son: Emanuel Lartigue, and one brother-in-law: Donald Ray Lartigue.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Linda Clayton, one daughter Yvette (John) Frank of Anchorage, AK.; one son Wilson Joseph (Phyllis) Clayton III, one step son David (Dana) Kimble all of Lake Charles, LA.; four sisters: Ollie Davis of Anchorage, AK.; Estelle (Joe) Jackson, Carolyn Coleman of Monroe, LA.; Paula Nweke of Lake Charles, LA.; Two brothers: Ray Taylor of Midland, TX.; Barren (Barbara) Taylor of Monroe, LA.; two step sisters: Joan Cuba, Orelia Stevens of Los Angeles, CA.;
Five Sister-in-Laws: Alice Fay Milburn, Mary Ann McNeal, Deborah (Marlon) Lewis, Jacqueline Rideau, Leray (Roosevelt) Hensley, Three brother-in-laws: Kato Robinson, Ronald Lartigue, Michael Wayne Lartigue, Twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. God-son Marlon Lewis, Jr.
Funeral services will be Friday August 23rd at 11 a.m. at Combre Funeral Home. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
