Obituary

Zola Theresa Brignac was born on May 30, 1940 near Lafayette, Louisiana to the union of Justin and Ethel Lee Andrus.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Zola departed this earthly life on April 4, 2012.

Zola attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Lake Charles, Louisiana and was a homemaker.  She married the love of her life, Andrew Brignac, on May 14, 1960.

Zola was preceded in death by her parents,  Justin and Ethel Andrus, Walter and Pauline Brignac (father-in-law and mother- in- law) brother, Nolton Andrus, sisters, Helen Andrus and Georgia A. Henderson, and brothers-in-law Karl  "Doug" Williams, James A. Coleman, Sr., and Frank Brignac, and sisters-in-law Clara Boutte and Patricia Ledee.

Zola is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Andrew Brignac; five sisters, Margie Andrus, Jessie Andrus, Mona Andrus and Justine  (Doug) Williams, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Bertha (James) Coleman of  Moss Bluff, LA and Effie Steele of San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, Clesma Andrus of  Lake Charles, Louisiana; three brothers-in-law, Walter (Jean) Brignac, Valentine Brignac, Darrell (Jean) Brignac; five sisters-in-law Gertrude Brignac, Mary Lee (Lawrence) Gobert, Shirley (George) Albert, Theresa (Pat) Stevens, and Margaret McArthur and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Homegoing Services will begin with a visitation at 11:45 a.m. -12:45 p.m. and a funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church.

Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
