Johnny Cal Thibodeaux was born on April 9, 1956, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Irving(Bobby) and Joyce Thibodeaux. Johnny was a graduate from Boston High in 1975 where he participated in Football and Basketball. After high school Johnny joined the Army where he was promoted to Army specialist four while serving as a driver with the 396th Transportation Company in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
Johnny had a passion for helping others by fixing things. One of his many gifts of life was he worked very well with his hands. He also loved to cook and was big on Family. One thing about Johnny, he loved his Mom ! Johnny's faith was central to his life, guiding him through both triumphs and challenges.
Legacy and Remembrance
Johnny's life was marked by love, joy, and service. He was a devoted son, caring brother, loyal friend, and loving father. His radiant smile and personality left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Johnny is survived by his companion Nancy Ziegler, his mother Joyce Thibodeaux; his Children Irvin Green, Kisha Green, Jason Galentine, Jonathan Galentine, Loleta Galentine, Crystal Bennett, Eldra Toussand, and Hazel Thibodeaux, 39 grandchildren and 9 Great Grand children all of Lake Charles, LA. His siblings, Lolita, Keith, Karl, Lavell, Lemoine, and Leah Thibodeaux all of Lake Charles and a host of nieces and nephews.
Though his time with us was short, his memory will be cherished forever.
